At the time the song was written, vocalist Eisho Higa asked his former classmate at Ishigaki Junior High School to write about his feelings toward the island, and the students wrote down their thoughts about the island. I wrote the lyrics with reference to it. In 2003, he won the 3rd Kenkichi Yamamoto Literary Award in the lyrics category. In some areas, it is used as an Acer song.
