A nursery rhyme that was announced and released in 1975 as an original number on Fuji TV’s children’s program “Hirake! Ponkikki.” The lyrics say, “Taiyaki runs away from the taiyaki shop and flees to the sea.” In 2008, it was decided to be included in the Guinness World Records 2009 as the “best-selling single in Japan” (at the time).
