杏里の13枚目のシングル。1983年8月5日にフォーライフ・レコードから発売された。日本テレビ系放映アニメーション『キャッツ♥アイ』の前期オープニングテーマに起用された。同年の『第34回NHK紅白歌合戦』でも披露され、翌1984年春には、第56回選抜高等学校野球大会入場行進曲にも選出されている。TVアニメの主題歌が紅白歌合戦やセンバツの入場行進曲に選出されるのはこれが初めてであった（劇場版を含めたアニメソングでは、劇場版宇宙戦艦ヤマトの第3作となる。(フリー百科事典 ウィキペディア日本語版より：https://x.gd/kBXtg)

Anri’s 13th single. It was released by Forlife Records on August 5, 1983. It was used as the opening theme for the first half of the Nippon Television animation series “Cats♥eye”. It was also performed at the 34th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in the same year, and the following year in the spring of 1984, it was selected as the entrance march for the 56th Invitational High School Baseball Tournament.
