A parody of this song was used in the commercials for ”Sakechazuke”, the Ochazuke nori series sold by Nagatanien, from 1971 to 2003 and in 2012 to commemorate its 60th anniversary. A parody of this song was also used in NEC’s Bazaar de Gozaru in its ”Let’s go to NEC stores!” edition at the end of 1996. When tourists visit Hakodate, many of them hum the beginning of the song.
