A song composed by Yuji Ohno. It was released in 1977 as the theme song for the anime Lupine the Third, based on the original work by Monkey Punch. As the series has grown over time, many arrangements have been made, and it is widely used as a representative song of “Lupin the Third.” Currently, it is a standard cheering song for Japanese high school baseball teams (mainly using “’78”), and is also often used as a chant for FC Tokyo.
